LABOR PROTECTION POLICY
APPROVED BY ORDER NO. 34 OF PJSC “UKRTRANSNAFTA” DATED FEBRUARY 8, 2017

The Ukrainian labor protection laws provide for taking a complex of legal, social and economic, organizational-and-technical, sanitary-and-hygienic and treatment-and-preventive measures and facilities aimed at the preservation of the life, health and working ability of people during the labor activities.

The appropriate realization of the said complex of measures and facilities at the Company becomes especially important after the signing of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the European Union. Oil transportation facilities with which hazardous and harmful production-related factors are associated belong to the high-risk category.

Realizing the potential hazard of a possible negative impact of its large-scale and technologically complicated activities on the life and health of its employees, PJSC “Ukrtransnafta” aspires to develop the main oil pipeline transport and to perform work in the manner minimizing the risks and preventing the threat of occupational injuries and occupational diseases of the employees and to ensure the implementation of the advanced global experience in the labor protection management at the Company.

PJSC “Ukrtransnafta” believes that the compliance with the provisions specified below is a precondition of an optimal combination of the Company’s interests and the social and economic needs of the society on the sphere of labor protection.

IN ITS ACTIVITIES, PJSC “UKRTRANSNAFTA” FOLLOWS THE FOLLOWING PRINCIPLES:
A full responsibility of the Director General of the Company and his deputies being Directors of the Branches for the creation of safe and healthy working conditions
A constant improvement of the activities in the sphere of labor protection as well as a labor protection management system at PJSC “Ukrtransnafta”
Planning and engaging in the activities aimed at reducing the cases of occupational injuries and occupational diseases
Priority of the employees’ life and health and ensuring appropriate, safe and healthy conditions of their labor and the openness of important information on the activities in the sphere of labor protection
Compliance with the requirements of the Ukrainian laws, the provisions of the valid international agreements the binding nature of which is approved by the Supreme Council (Parliament) of Ukraine, and the standards and regulatory acts in the sphere of the labor protection
Planning and engaging in the activities aimed at the provision of the employees with special clothes, footwear, and individual protection facilities corresponding to the state-of-the-art level of science and technology in the sphere of labor protection
FOR THE COMPLIANCE WITH THE AFORESAID PRINCIPLES, PJSC “UKRTRANSNAFTA” SET THEMSELVES THE FOLLOWING PURPOSE AND OBJECTS:
Ensuring a complex assessment of the hazardousness level of the production facilities by detecting all hazardous and harmful production-related factors, assessment and analysis of possible variants, and reduction in the risk of accidents
Informing the employees on the labor protection and labor conditions at the workplaces, the existing risks of damage to the health, and the measures of protection against the impact of harmful and hazardous production-related factors
Provision of sanitary and treatment-and-preventive services for the employees and provision of the premedical aid facilities and medicines
Provision of organizational, material and financial resources for ensuring the functioning of the labor protection management system and taking labor protection measures
Ensuring the labor protection and safe working conditions for the employees during the operation of buildings, structures, and equipment and carrying out processes
Improvement of the labor protection management system due to a timely development and actualization of the Company’s management documents, regulations, and procedures
Functioning of the labor protection and working conditions at workplaces monitoring and control
Ensuring personal responsibility of the managers of all the levels and immediate performers for the compliance with the labor protection requirements
Minimization of the risks and prevention of the threat of the employees’ occupational injuries and occupational diseases
Clear distinction between the employee’s rights, duties, and responsibility for the compliance with the labor protection requirements
Increase in the employees’ production culture and educational and professional level in the field of labor protection
Taking into account the suggestions of the employees and other stakeholders concerning the labor protection at the Company
A constant formation of a positive image of PJSC “Ukrtransnafta” as the company oriented to the priority of the employees’ life and health preservation
A permanent training in safe methods of work performance and examination of the knowledge of the labor protection requirements
